In a GTS? No way! You want a CCA of at least 120A, preferably 160A or more.
These days I recommend LiFePO4 batteries anyway - they'll last the life of the bike, and don't need winter maintenance. This looks like a good one (there are many these days): https://www.amazon.com/Mighty-Max-Battery-YTX12-BSLIFEPO4-Phosphate/dp/B07K317R8S Yes it costs more than the one you linked to - but that one wouldn't play nicely with your GTS anyway. |

Thanks for the link!
The battery you linked should be Ok in hot climates too, right? I'm all the way down in Miami. The link I sent - I had that battery running in my vespa for over 2 years already, and just recently started experienced starter problems. Thank you. |

LiFePO4 batteries can typically operate within a temperature range of -20°C to 60°C (-4°F to 140°F), but optimal performance is achieved between 0°C and 45°C (32°F and 113°F). It is essential to maintain the battery within its recommended temperature range to ensure optimal performance, safety, and longevity. Jim, do these batteries require a trickle charger over the winter? If so, I assume a Battery Tender Jr. would not work.

These are not the NMC (nickel, manganese, copper) Lithium-ion batteries that are used in so many other situations - many EVs, electric scooters etc. They are self-extinguishing if set on fire. Just better all round. |

Now I'd plump for an LFP every time in the scooters, having had a couple of year's experience with a home build 300Ah LFP house battery in our camper van. Example - a new Motobatt in Mrs jimc's LX190 struggled to start the LX. Voltage dropped to 11V at the battery, and 9.5V at the starter. The LFP that replaced it stays above 13V when starting, and there's 11.5V at the starter which gets the LX starting immediately. |

I'm not really worried about the warranty.
I'm mostly concerned about it being a battery that is healthy for my Vespa and recommended for it. Got stuck twice this month in high heat climate not knowing that my battery was not a good match for the scooter |
