I thinking of buying a used 300 GTS HPE supertech and wonder if there is something I need to check or be aware of?

Fuel pumps are a issue, well you may get a good one and may not. i have a 2022 and love it except for the fuel pump that get ho and stops, its a easy fix with a after market pump its self. the bike has a better fuel economy than the older models. if you change the tone ring you can cruise on 120kph no worries.

The Scooter is registered first time late 2022, but it's with Euro 4 so I think it's an older one.
Is there an easy way to define the year model?

Like color, rim, handles or otherwise?

The newer* has keyless ignition, that's an easy to see and unmistakable difference.

* Released in October 2022 in Europe and North America

For those without Keyless, 2020 and
2021 how can you see differences on them?
The VIN start with ZAPMA3601

ZAPMA3601 is a Euro 4 before the keyless. There were some variances in trim depending on country and year eg rim styles and colour of trim.

You do realise a photo would go a long way ....

I do realise that, but I don't want to do that since the owner can be a user here and I is not the owner.

I like of course 2019 also, but when you is told is a 2022 you expect it to be that.

Fair enough.

Mind you, you could just offer less money for it

Frankly, unless Pontadera starts offering SuperTechs again in brighter, non-matte finishes, my next one will be a 2019/2020 model. I'm done with the "stealth" look, for reasons that should be obvious to anyone who's followed me here the past several years.

I can understand that. Out of all the scoots I have owned, it's the red ones that seem to get noticed by drivers the best, yellow is probably a close second.

I love the look of my gloss grey but the invisibility (as Tierney also says) does some times concerns me.

Imho The current supertech colours are pretty but impractical for me. The grey is good for hiding the scratches and dirt that i seen l seem to collect a lot of 🤣

Do the 2023 models benefit from the tone ring fix, or does it not affect them?
