Fitted a polini CP23 but having problems getting it to run properly.
Starts well enough on full choke but when I close the choke it revs highly for about 5 seconds then dies completely.
Too much air, not enough fuel ?
What could cause this ?
Anyone else had experience with this carb? If so I would welcome your thoughts.

May be air and lack of fuel.

I have seen these instructions but am none the wiser. They explain how the carb works but not how to set it up from scratch.

I am also working hard to make my GS150 run on CP23 carb.
My current choice is Main 90, pilot 36, needle second lowest pos. Air screw 1.5 out.
But I am not finished - I need improvements!

It is damn annoying to change jets in the bottom compared to the SI carbs where jets are placed on top.
