Just when I thought the design of the CyberTruck couldn't get any stupider, the designers said "Here, hold my beer, and watch us make every CyberTruck owner hate just using the damn thing!"

In the software world, we call this user-hostile design. I don't know what it's called in the car world, but this fucking sucks and Tesla designers are obviously fucking assholes.

Otherwise, Jess, I entirely agree. At the very least, it is an example of non-intuitive design. I mean, why do something with a simple lever when you can bury it a level or two deep in a GUI just because you can.

Dumbass design. A solution for which there is no question.

In my neck of the woods, rain and snow have followed the fires. Why is this in this thread?

True, that. My mom had a'96 4WD for years, well into her 80s. She drove it long enough that I told her we were going to bury her in it. I also liked to remind her that it was the favorite vehicle of the Taliban (at least it looked like it).

Anyway, pretty badass truck, and clearly puts a Cybertruck to shame. My only gripe is headroom, and I'd put money on that sucking in a Cybertruck too.

I hate it when I see my favorite vehicles used by terrorists.

I saw a Cybertruck yesterday that was wrapped for a pest control company.

I should have stopped to take a photo.

It showed that the truck is good for something.

Saw an article today - the Las Vegas police have bought 10 Tesla pickups with money donated to them. They claim that they are bulletproof. They also claim that the trucks will help with community relations.

I kinda hope the article was a joke

Both claims are definitely a joke as is the company's CEO, just not a funny one.

Long term, I think the suspension is going to prove a weak point. The Cybertruck weighs almost 7000 lbs, which is about 3/4 ton more than the biggest Ford F150 Supercab.

When Boeing opened the plant in SC, we had a scooter store. At the time, if you had any amount of DUIs and a lifetime ban on ever getting a driver's license, you could legally ride a 50cc scooter with no license, registration or insurance. And of course you didn't need to wear a helmet, or shoes. It was mindboggling how many liquor cycles ended up in Boeing's employee parking.
But this is the same State where Volvo had to do a recall on one of their cars because the guys on the assembly line were hand tightening the nuts that held the rear shocks on.

It seems this owner decided to support the CEO of Tesla by supporting his Space X business too.

Is it just me, or is Elon Musk completely incapable of wearing a hat? I can't post any pictures of him actually wearing a hat (for reasons that are probably obvious to everyone but the… oh, wait) but in every photo, he has the hat awkwardly perched on his head as if he was hiding a small grilled weasel on toast underneath his hat, ready to be consumed for lunch.

It's not even just a case of wearing his hat at a jaunty angle, unless by jaunty angle you mean does not appear to be resting on anything remotely resembling a human head.

What a fucking weirdo.
