Hi,
I've just spent £160 on a service where the oil, filters, spark plug etc were all changed, and when I picked it up it felt great.
When on way home, I decreased my speed and my Vespa lost all power (electrics cut out) and thankfully I had enough momentum to pull into a layby where it fired back up straight away.
Prior to the service, the same thing happened. I'm wondering is it carb or battery as battery apparently is good.

Check the battery connections. That's what happened to me. Easy fix.

Also check to make sure spark plug cap is on plug tight and HT wire screwed in firmly to spark plug cap
