HI, Guys
Is it possible to check the piston ring without dismantle the engine cylinder?

the higher ring is for compression, so I can check is status by checking compression.

but the lower ring, is for oil wiping, so how can I check is status ?

Thanks
Nir

Unless you have a related problem such as very hard starting, oil consumption, etc leave it alone.

The piston rings are not a regular service item.

What will give you maximum ring life are very regular oil changes (5K km max intervals), using the correct spec oil, clean air filters, running quality fuels, and avoiding extended full throttle (max rpm) operation
