I would appreciate it some general advice/suggestions with regard to the 2 images I have posted below:
The first one shows scratches to the rear wheel hub surface on my bike. The second image shows some discoloration to the chrome , just by the seat on a rear back rack with wheel carrier.

The wheel hub can be prepped and repainted, The chrome bar looks to have been rewelded at the joint. Unless you want to have it rechromed, there probably isn't another option.

Regarding the rack as stated above, the chrome rack has failed in the past and been subject to a weld repair. Its then been painted with aluminium paint, hence the discolouration.

One option is you can buy chrome effect tape. It will never be the same as the original but its a quick cheap reversible fix.

What year is your PX?

Sip scooter shop have a variety of racks and it might be easier just buying a new one.
