Rotate tires on GTS 300?

I was asked by a fellow GTS owner if it's recommended to rotate tires. I'd never really considered that since the tire life is relatively short-lived anyway. I can see the merit however for prolonging tire life with rotation since each tire has distinctly different loads and wear patterns. Any thoughts on that?
