Just acquired this P150S from an MV member as a part of a package deal.
From what I have found online, it's an Indonesian market Vespa large frame with 8" wheels and a trapezoidal headset.

So, what to do? The herd of Vespas is currently quite full…

Option 1: sell it

Option 2: Convert it to 10" wheels by swapping in a p series front fork and a running LML motor I have lying around

Option 3: keep it 8" and try to fix the stock 150 2 stroke engine that's already missing a ton of parts…

Option 4: 10" wheel conversion. Install one of my electric Vespa kits.

I'll leave it up to the jury!

PS - anyone know what a Vespa Smart is? This thing is branded with "smart" everywhere (even in the speedo) and I cannot find anything on it online.

That's too weird and unique to do anything but rock it on 8's. No way it should go 10" or electric. Sell it if you have the urge to do either.

Keep it as is, so #1 or #3 is my sentimental preference but that assumes it can be a nice running lo mile and useable bike. It does have some interesting unique features and if the 1007km shown is anywhere near correct the stock motor should be easy to restore and hop up if desired.

Electric start button? Looks like maybe they get nervous above 60 kmph(~37mph] so BOO, but I do particularly like the built in waste basket - don't be a damn litterbug !!!

Fix it, get it running good. Then decide whether you want to lose it or not. You may learn to love it's uniqueness and keep it or just want to sell it off. And selling something that is running is a plus ($$$) and sooo much easier.

General consensus is to keep in 8" and stock.

I don't really like 8" scooters personally--I get the appeal for others, just not for me!

I'll mess around with it for a couple hours and see if I can get it running. If so, maybe ripping around on it will change my mind.

If not, I'll post it up here for sale on MV for anyone who may be interested.

Thanks All

Its not too different from the Exclusive 2 150, which is 1996. I'm wondering if the missing floor covering is a direct lift with the T5 Classic as these were also made in 1996; if so could be replaced with aftermarket or NOS. I think its cool, I like the parabola headlight. Maybe it was on 8" wheels for shorter riders, aimed at ladies, who knows? But yes, I would be tempted to get it going, leave as is and sticker up the dinks and scrapes. I would hazard a guess that accessory parts for these will be a plenty if you are prepared to import from Indonesia; the vespa scootering scene out there is considerable from the amount of ride out rally's ive seen on Instagram user @danangkowang.

Thanks all for the quick and accurate input as always.
I threw it up on scootnet2 since the MV classifieds is not my cup of tea.

Didn't notice it was 8's at first, but I like it. Kind of a fan of obscure Vespa model variants. There seem to be many in India and Indonesia.

One of my fav models!

Kinda like the love-child a late night drunken party (or was that orgy) with a few PX's & a VBC, with a bit of "input" (a normally crazed/cracked speedo - scared of the sun) from some wee modern that was lurking around once everything else fell asleep... BEST OF ALL or NONE.

Modern Vespa is the premier site for modern Vespa and Piaggio scooters. Vespa GTS300, GTS250, GTV, GT200, LX150, LXS, ET4, ET2, MP3, Fuoco, Elettrica and more.
