I have had a metalic rattle that I thought was coming from the BGM 177 Kit.
It turns out that its the centre stand spring vibrating on the polini box exhaust.
I see there are two types of springs for the main stand, the larger diameter spring that Im using and the two smaller later smaller diameter springs.
Does anyone know if its possible to use the two later springs on all model px, or are these only for the later models?

Has anyone had similar issues?
Any tips would be great.

Thanks
Robbie

It depends on whether there are 2 slits on the backside of the crossmember. I'm pretty sure there are. Of course, you would need the 2 springs. You would also need a centerstand with 2 attachment points. You do not need the clips that go in the slits. They are not used with the Polini.

If your stand has the double mounting points you can install the smaller springs…

Take a look under there and see if there's another clip slot away from the exhaust. The earlier P's have them.

I remember making a slot in the frame and moving the spring attachment on the kickstand to clear BGM big box on my GL.
