Modern Vespa

Good evening, all!

New member here living in SLO, CA. I have previously owned a 1960 VBA for many years in the early 2000s and foolishly sold it…. Looking to get back in to scooting and thought this would be a great place to start.

General Discussion is a good spot to get up to speed on the automatic Vespas, from the ET-series up through the latest GTS / GTV models.

If your interested still lies with the older hand-shifted two-stroke models, the Not So Modern subforum will be right in your wheelhouse.

Regardless of your preference, any day on a Vespa is a good day.

If you get chance, try out one of the modern ones (GTS ideally), they're a lovely ride!

I need to keep Modern and NSM in the armoury as I need to breath 2-stroke and shift now and again!

Welcome, Jeff, you are in the right club. I've sold a few Vespas I regret as well, but there are still plenty out there, (I'm picking up one tomorrow)! If you have some pics of the VBA, post them on the NSM side. We love pics of old scoots.

Yes, will be spending a lot of time in the Not So Modern sub-forum as that is what I'm looking for.

If anybody has any leads on scooters for sale in Southern California or the Bay Area let me know.
