I have understood that the owner of the Modern Buddy site has been looking for someone else to take over the site for some time. I haven't heard anything about shutting the site down, but some kind of transition is certainly possible.

I feel responsible here, given that I cloned MV into Modern Buddy as a half-serious joke all those years ago, and then pawned it off on Eric.

I hope this gets resolved, but I really wouldn't blame him if he just walked away.
