Hello,
My vespa has just developed an oil leak. Its done about 1000Km since a full engine rebuild 2 years ago.
Oil drips from from where the accelerator, rear foot brake & gear change cable run through the underside of floor pan to the engine of the scoot ( see photo ) There is no oil leak I can see from visible engine areas of the scoot and no oil drops on the floor below the engine.
Its a 1962 Vespa VNB 3T 125 2 stroke. It looks like gear box oil as the oil on the floor doesn't have a fuel smell.
I have put a snake camera in where the carby air inlet hose goes thru the body to check if the fuel tap below the fuel tank is leaking - seems ok.
All visible engine gaskets look unstained.
Any advice is appreciated or where to look.
Thanks
Conrad
