Curious to get thoughts on the Piaggio alarm. Anyone install one on a Liberty? Thoughts on impact on battery life and overall impressions of the alarm? I park at a train station so like the idea of the alarm.

I have one on my GTS and there hasn't been any noticable impact on battery life.

The alarm works and is easy to use, though if you ever have to change any settings, it's not convenient or straight forward.

In the end the alarm alone won't stop anybody from taking your scooter, but for me it's part of a package of making it a less convenience target. I also use a cover, choose where I park and have a CLM Blindado handlebar lock.

They're fine, they go into hibernation to avoid battery drain but come alive again if scooter is messed with. They were made by Gemini in Italy for a long time, I don't know if they still are…
