So I have a 50cc Primavera ('16) and Sprint ('17). Have been working on the other scooters carburetor and now when looked under the "hood" of the sister model, I noticed that where the Primavera had a hose connected to the carb, The Sprint had the same hose neartly tucked away. The hose in question is shown on the image and is connected to a mystery setup. Please enlighten me, what is the part in question (That is running on the front edge of the brim of the seat base...)

All new motorcycle models in 2016 had to meet tougher emissions (Euro 4), but existing models were exempt from this.

From 2017, ALL motorcycles sold had to conform to Euro 4.

My guess is that this is something necessary to meet Euro 4 emissions but they didn't install it until they absolutely had to. It also would have given them the ability to retrofit any Vespas that didn't sell before the end of 2016.
