Hi i have a 63 sportique with pinasco 177 kit and a spaco LI24 carb im having idling problems when the engine is fully warmed up im managing to set the carb well on the bench but as soon as i take it for a good run she stalls every time at lights or idling
my spark plug seems to suggest its running rich as its dark and oily

What's your current jetting and is the choke mechanism full closed? Happened to me 2 weeks ago. Out of nowhere it wouldn't idle and would die when I came to a stop. Took me awhile to remember I removed the seat for something and the choke cable was pulled and didn't fully go back. I have a VNA so the choke cable comes out under the seat and I have a bench seat with a hole drilled in the plate to allow the cable to be usable.
