SIP #86131120

Looking for you feedback on using this wiring loom when running a VAPE ignition for full DC in a USA market P200e. From the get go, looks like no neutral safety switch or front brake circuit.

Will the ignition lock (I) work just the same on our headset switches?

Why would they run a 1960's switch (E)?

No turn signal light circuit for indicators on top of the headset.

makes me want to install a stock P200e wiring harness (either single yellow or double yellow) and just use a universal 12v rectifier.

I have two double yellow and one single yellow (stock/repaired USA harnesses) with the Vape DC regulator. The single yellow harness can be used with the Vape DC without any modification.
Headlight switch wire (purple) connects to the wire from the flasher (off green/white from the switch) that originally went to the old rectifier.

Yellow and red from the junction box (to blue/black) to the regulator.

i like that. i have a new single yellow on the shelf. i will just install that into this bike and do those simple wiring modifications. . . then everything works as it should. i will have to change out the ignition lock in the headset from 4 to the 8 connection type.

I've used two different SIP VAPE 12VDC conversion harnesses (not for a P though). I've never been too impressed with them. I usually end up half disassembling them and modify them in some way or another, then buttoning the loom back up. I feel as though it might be better off to just modify a standard loom.

Convert a stock loom. You won't find anything made for US models. As for SIP looms, they're meh…

For P/PXs I go OEM, Piaggio still makes them and they're superior to any repro…

It's not even that great for Euro models.
