I know it's a minor thing overall, but I'd really love to whack the engineer who decided that the fuel door on the BV400 should be hinged at the rear.

This means when it's open, I can't lean my head forward to see the fuel level without the windscreen getting in the way. And even if I could, with the fuel door on one side and the bodywork on the other, everything is in shadow so it's extremely hard to see the fuel level as I'm filling.

So I have to get off the scooter, pop the fuel door, fill it up while struggling to see what the level is, and then invariably splash some out anyhow.

And don't get me started on how the fuel gauge doesn't actually read full until I've traveled about 10 miles.

Kvetch over.
