I have a 1966 Sears Allstate Blue badge, scooter ran great then stator wires frayed. So I sent stator off for repair. I did not mark anything before taking it apart. After putting back together the hole in the flywheel to adjust points is off by 3 inches. Flywheel is keyed and I tried to adjust stator plate but 3 inches off. Any thoughts ? The yellow is where hole is the open is where it needs to be. I tried to move stator plate in different positions but this seems to be the only way it fits

Adjust the stator plate position and points gap to where the window used to be. Do you have the equipment to strobe it and confirm timing?
