Modern Vespa

I'm on a budget, but is there anyone who can recommend a lift/jack for mp3 500...

Whereabouts are you? I have one gathering dust in my London garage, that I'd let go for a sensible amount. It accommodated my Fuoco when I had one back in the day, as well as GP800s, X9s, you name it.

It'd be available from mid-August if you're not in a tearing hurry.

Doesn't exist.

There's no need for that anyway - the front wheels can be off the ground one at a time using the tilt-lock, or better still using a scissor jack on the front frame tubes.

Can only be done with one of these below in link, choose your price range, I myself use the draper, better quality, but other cheaper models will do the job ok, make sure you watch video also at the end to not catch the cables or hoses.

^^^^ And then it's wobbly - take a wheel off and it's unbalanced and will tilt over. Yes, a scissor jack is very useful on those frame tubes at times, but really only needed if you're taking off both front wheels at a time, say to take in for tyre changing - and that'll be while it's on the centre-stand or chocked rear wheel at the same time.

100% with you on that Jimc, I only use it for tyre change, or stearing bearing check, after that it stays on centerstand with tiltlock off.
