Hey all,

I am in the market for a new vehicle that can double as scooter transport.

Any recommendations on mini vans that I can load a vespa into comfortably?

I realized I would to remove the seats or have a stow and go option.

What are you all using out there?

Thanks.

I've got a long wheelbase VW Caddy. Only 2 seats but two scooters can fit in the back easily.

Thank you. I'll really have to do some digging. Objectively I'll need a work style van with passe ger seats.
The van will double as my family vehicle and my scooter transport. My truck isn't cutting it anymore.

Paging qascooter and his Braun rampvan. Many years ago i was eyeballing a 1st gen scion xB mobility van at an auction. It had a pretty high ceiling height with the drop section floor. A scooter would have easily fit...possibly even a dirtbike.

How long of a riding season do you have up there? I bought a trailer so I could have something I actually enjoy driving and having a way to transport up to three scooters at once. It fits upright in my storage with the scooter.

Or Ford Transit? Mercedes Metris? Do you get anything up there that we in the US do not?

I've got a 2009 Toyota Sienna minivan that has a Braun ramp kit in it. It basically lowers the floor 6 or 8 inches, and has tie down points and all. For a wheelchair obviously, but works fantastic to haul the scooter!

Probably not what you're looking for, but my solution anyway

I've had my eye on the Mercedes Metris for a while now. The Transit (even the extended one) seems to be too short for a large frame or a Lambretta but just by a bit. was even thinking some mods to the rear doors could make it work.

I'm not sure that this statement covers all mini-vans....

My Town and Country min-van had the head room to fit my stella. The only problem was that all the rear doors were to short to get the head set through.
