I had some 12 sets built for the BV350's years ago when they first came out.

they were 316 SS laser cut and bent . looked great and function EXCELLENT. just not a lot of call for them to have them produced more. So they got tabled.

search for the threads for them under BV350 highway floorboards. there should be some pics

Thanks old as dirt and good to see you still above the dirt !
I remember looking at the thread back when I got my 350
And never made a set for myself so now I'm going to fab something up for sure . I am going to tie in a place to mount so good running lights as long as I am doing it I will do that to.
Do you remember did you tie into the floorboard I am thinking I could use heavy diamond plate aluminum to work with. Any tips on what you did would be appreciated.

I found aluminum diamond plate did not have enough strength and would bend.

this is why I went with 316 ss I think 3/16" thick.

we traced the floor area with cardboard to make a rough template. the fab shop did a basic cut out and kept grinding and filing till it covered the whole floor area. I believe we found 2 or 3 screws in the floor that were to the frame structure and they used those spots for the thru hole to screw down the floorboard on top with longer recessed screws.

then they played out the bracket position arm so they could get a decent angle for the feet position with a person sitting on the scoot. (me). once they got that spotted they did the computer layout and laser cut them out and bent them and test fitted. we did not have to do any adjustments. I only added a bit of length to the footage bracket area so I could have 3 holes in which folks could have some adjustability for how far the pegs were away.

Thanks I wondered about the aluminum thought it might be an issue but it is easier to work with. I think a few holes would be a good idea you don't have any old pictures of the finished product do you ?

It is fairly straight forward to search older posts on MV. Here is a post with pictures of the BV350 pegs.

So would you have made the highway pegs father out ? I believe I will just make them out of steel because I have that in the shop .Then add some paint .
