Searched non-alcohol gas. Search brpught up drinkable stuff. I live close to a station that sells 90 octane, non-alcohol premium. Is there any downside to using that most of the time? I don't think so, but.......

It costs more.

91 octane non-ethanol is readily available where I live, and I use it in all of our bikes/scooters, but most of them require 'premium' gasoline anyway.

I use it for the octane, not the non-alcohol bit... except for my carbureted 43 year old Honda CB900C, I do prefer non-ethanol gas in that one.

No problem with using it most/all of the time. It's all I ever use in every machine I have except my car and truck. It's what everything ran on before they started turning corn into alcohol and mixing it in with all our gas. It's easy to get here in 87 and 90-something. In fact, I swear by it and refuse to use gas with alcohol in any of my bikes, mowers, log splitters, generators, etc.

I use ethanon-free 87 octane in my 3 scooters and my 1991 Ford Ranger exclusively. I have two 2 gallon gas cans I fill up, and top off my bikes between trips to the gas station. I've been doing this for the last 5 years and everything behaves much better. Watch project farms video on gas additives and oxygenated fuel. It's an eye opener.

It probably doesn't help that I'll offer my opinion on almost anything and post right up on what are essentially repetitive obsolete topics.

I don't start them, but given enough time and (more) age-related brain cell loss, I may begin to ask what's the best oil to use, do loud pipes save lives? etc.
