If I purchase a new ECU (same as the one my Piaggio MP3 have) I like to know some details about how it comes brand new and what I need to do after physical installation:

1. I imagine it comes virgin, so the keys needs to be programed (first the brown and after it the black one). What is the process?
2. Is needed to do a TPS reset or something similar or is fine as come?
3. I read somewhere that it was necessary to do a pairing/synchronization between the tiltlock and the new ECU, any idea how to do it?
4. Anything else that needs to be done extra?
5. Is a PADS a must on?

Thanks in advance

I did this in my gts last year and I'm guessing without checking that's it's also a magnetti miu ecu

1. Yes, virgin, needs pairing. I followed the instructions in the workshop manual and it was easy. (Bit busy now to find the pdf but is probably same sequence).

2. No.

5. Everything worked for me including Bluetooth and the tft dash, except asr. No matter what i did asr would not calibrate until i got the dealer to update the firmware with pads (he said he also reset asr but turning it on/off with pads?).

Conclusion, you'll get it running but might then need to ride to the dealer to get it finished.

In the MP3 is a RIU, in mine a CM086905, but I imagine the "delivery form" needs to be similar.
