My friend Eric, creator of the YouTube channel "Kraken's Garage and Adventures" told me he was riding up my way from Virginia. The polite response seemed to me to be to meet him halfway in Berkeley Springs, West Virginia so he didn't have to ride his Vespa 946 all that way alone.
The plan was for me and a couple friends to ride our Vespa scooters to meet him. That plan collapsed when Andy's (Heckadude here) GTS shredded a belt on the way to work and Paul thought we would be riding highways and opted for his Sportster.
So I lent Andy my GTS, I rode my Himalayan, Paul rode his Sportster, and David was on his Triumph Thruxton.
We met at noon at Charlotte's Cafe in Berkeley Springs.
I led the group through the quiet backroads of central Pennsylvania. Eric spent the night and then headed West to meet another YouTuber. All told he put 700 miles on his Vespa 946. I had the opportunity to ride it. That's one tall scooter!
Here are a few pictures from the get together...
