I am with OldScooot, I really need to try a helmet on before I buy. Many of you may have standard heads - mine is large and round. It is easier to fit a half helmet.

There are some good videos on how to be fitted properly with a helmet.
One suggestion which I employed: try on helmets to find one that matches your head size & shape, round or oval.
Then wear it around the shop for 15 to 20 mins and see if you still like the fit.
I figure to be spending many hours in my helmets - which are safety devices not head decoration. So
proper fit is important to me.
