Just got my new jet helmet and a pair of gloves delivered from Italy.
I used a company called Brixiamoto and they have a huge amount of helmets and gear to choose from. I got a helmet and gloves for 180 AUD including delivery. Very happy camper here..

Nice score!

I checked out this website and I'm adding it to my list of PowerSports Favorites.

It looks like the have a good selection of gear, accessories, and spare parts. Since they are located in Italy, I looked and confirmed they have a lot of spares for Vespas. I was able to find a new OEM Piaggio rear master cylinder for my rear brake, $80 +$16 for international shipping - not terrible. Cheaper than ScooterWest ($134), even with Shipping. Cheaper than SIP as well, for this item anyway.

I only order a helmet after I've test fitted the exact same helmet at a store.

I wish I could find any shop locally that has a good selection of 3/4th helmets, but I can't. This is a great site with a wonderful selection of helmets...bookmarked for my next helmet purchasing adventure!

I am with OldScooot, I really need to try a helmet on before I buy. Many of you may have standard heads - mine is large and round. It is easier to fit a half helmet.

There are some good videos on how to be fitted properly with a helmet.
One suggestion which I employed: try on helmets to find one that matches your head size & shape, round or oval. Then wear it around the shop for 15 to 20 mins and see if you still like the fit.
I figure to be spending many hours in my helmets - which are safety devices not head decoration. So proper fit is important to me.

For what it is worth, I do not feel right about going to a local shop to get the right size just to turn around and buy online to save a few bucks. The service you get at the local shop is worth something. Just my $0.02.

I'm with you on that one, it would bug me too much. If they don't have the right color and aren't interested in ordering one for you, then by all means it's online time. I could never be a used car salesman. I'd die from guilt or not eating from lack of funds.🤷🏼
