I'd bend the end of the cable first, enough so it'll want to start to turn around that corner.

Try unscrewing the adjuster fully and leaving it loose on the cable, albeit seated against the cable outer ferrule.
Try fishing the cable inner through the throttle cable guide again. I suspect the adjuster isn't allowing you to push the cable through at a shallow enough angle to clear the 90-degree bend. It it still doesn't work, there are other guides available with shallower angles. Check this place out for alternatives if needed: https://www.treatland.tv/SearchResults.asp?Search=Throttle+cable+bendy |

Grasp the inner cable tightly in one hand and spin the fitting anti-clockwise ( in the direction of the weave pattern) with the other as you push it through. There might be a few strands of the wire rope that are jamming up in the bend.

Just a thought, can you get anything to go through? i.e., a cable tie or a bread tie, or something more flexible. Perhaps the fitting is effed up?

Is there a ferrule on the cable or is it bare?
The pipe is oval at the bend A couple of possible ways to go Carefully straighten the pipe slightly Maybe squeeze the bend in a vice For the cable take a grinder, flapper wheel & flatten the sides slightly of, to help get through the bend |

I tried the twisting and no luck. I'll see if I can bend the pipe with the vice and maybe some heat or should I grind the tip of the cable first? I don't want the cable to fail while I'm driving. |

What I use. Bicycle brake cable inner sleeve. Should be able to source it from local bike shop. Leave a short length in the elbow after you get the cable through so cable is not metal on metal.

When you say it came with the carb, do you mean it was already threaded through there, and you pulled it out and are not trying to put it back in, or is it a different cable that was never attached to the carburetor? What does the other end go to? Does it go to the splitter? Make sure you're putting the end that goes in the carb in the carb and not the end for the splitter.
