Rolled the dice on a " wiring issue" 06 GT starter just clicks ag ain't a locked engine 😰..

Found a lx 150 that's in parts sans a fork.. I really can't see that much dimensional difference in production..

Roll 20 for luck?

*you roll a 1*

forfeit your potions and armor.

GT fork is about 1.5~2" longer in all the critical areas. it will physically fit, but won't handle right at all. and that's *if* you can get the fork neck upper bearing close enough to do up (it may or may not have enough threads to do so).

short answer: no

Water cooled vs Air cooled. No way - and the transmission cases are different lengths. <<< Bollocks - see below

Actually, it's the same engine cases and mounting points. The GTS case is longer and so is the BV, etc. I've used part of an ET4 crankcase case on my GT 200. And the stator will plug right into the harness.

Extra length is in the final drive, will need to swap cover and axle from the GT. IIRC from my project GT gearing is a downgear for the ET/LX motor though so may need to swap gears as well.
