How does the ground work? I can that the both the rear spring and the pivot arm is rubber isolated, so how does the ground from the stator get ot the chassis? I noticed that in the original taillights, the grounding was via the wingnuts and then onto the tail panel. Also the handlebar switch looks like it has a ground on the centre bolt.
I usually work on jap bikes and they run a dedicated ground wire from the engine and into chassis as part of the harness
Thanks in advance

For starters, all your cables. Then you have a ground wire that leaves your stator plate and goes to the headlight bulb holder. . . which through the headlight grounds to the chassis.
