Hello

First time posting but wondered if anyone had any help. Currently rebuilding a sportique Douglas and I can't get it to start

I have tried all the usual to start it and I'm now looking at the carb. As the si20/17b is unavailable is there a difderent carb on the market that will fit in the box? I have read a si 20/17d won't fit? Or better still is there anywhere I can post the carb and get it cleaned and rebuilt and potentially repaired

What is " all the usual " ? How about spark ? Will it fire a small shot of gas or starting fluid ?
