Can anyone confirm that the latest Vespa GTS 300 is actually lighter (only by a few kilograms) than the latest Vespa 125/150?
I have looked online, most internet sites are confirming this, however, I can't find official weight figures from Vespa themselves.
QUESTION: How is it possible that the latest 300 is lighter? The previous versions were always heavier than the 125/150.
Thanks for your help.

Can't confirm!

Vespa GTS 125 MY2023: 150kg
Vespa GTS 300 MY2023: 163kg

The difference is partly due to the larger cooling circuit on the GTS 300 (two radiators behind the glove compartment instead of one radiator directly on the water pump).

If I remember correctly, both are 3kg heavier than pre-facelift.

Thank you! Your information makes sense.

Every internet site I visited was listing the 2023 Vespa 125/150 as "heavier" than the 300. If your information is correct, it makes a lot more sense.

It would be good if Vespa International listed the official weights on their website.

Thanks again.

It is!
Source: https://www.fulland-vespa-store.de/motorroller/vespa-gts-125 / https://www.fulland-vespa-store.de/motorroller/vespa-gts-300 (Tab: "Technische Daten" -> Technical data)

You also can check owners manual / workshop manual.

Indeed

By the way: since no technical changes have been made compared to the pre-facelift (same engine) and all changes have been made to both the 125/150 and 300 (new brakes/keylessness/etc.), the same weight difference as with the pre-facelift must logically remain...

Third party sites like those are frequently wrong

Did they put oil in the 300 before weighing it?

Values all over the place. Facepalm emoticon

I just looked my original Vespa Owner manuals...

Kerb Weights listed as

ET-4 240 lbs
GTS-300 333 lbs

Manuals doesn't specify w fuel or not

GTS -300 is definitely heavier than ET-4 150 cc
