Hi guys.

Our beloved Bieber protection bars kit emblem piece was smashed by a guy with some kind of hard material

Since we can't find the piece anywhere, only if we buy the protection bars again, we are curious if you think se can rebuild it…

Any ideas?
Thank you!

If you can not buy the part separately, someone who does 3D printing should be able to replicate it. Then have it painted, remove the badge off the damaged one and apply to the new one.

Contact the company. They might be able to get you one.

It looks fairly intact. An little bondo, a little sanding and a little white paint and you should be good.

Reminds me of the guy who put a dent in my top bar of my bike, way back when. Sorry.

There is no access to a 3D printer and no blueprints to make it work. So this is the first step we took. Made some plastic from some special boiling raw plastic and this is the result.

Next step trying to polish it. After that, paint.

Will keep you posted

I am sorry that your beauty has been damaged by vandalism.

I don't believe in semi-professional repairs. You will always see that.

The part you are looking for is only available together with the camber reins, not separately.

Your last photo shows that both the cascade is damaged and the black rubber part (which is painted on your bike, painting rubber will always look like shit) has been moved upwards. In any case, unscrew the bracket and the cascade to make sure there is no damage underneath and/or the crash bar is not warped.

My tip: order the complete crash bar again. Parts for a special model may no longer be available at some point.

I'm guessing there are some of these that can be purchased second hand. I have heard of a lot of folks debadging the Beibers in order to be able to sell them. Just another thought, but your repair is promising.

You're 3/4 of the way there. Don't listen to the naysayers wanting you to spend your hard earned money on a complete kit for the 2 square inch part. Is your repair so far structurally solid? If so, use JB Weld or PC-7 two-part epoxy to fill in the rest. Do small multiple layers if you have to. Shape the repairs with 220 grit sand paper. Move on to 400 grit when you are satisfied with the shape. Take your piece into the hardware store and buy the closest rattle can paint they have. Carefully mask the P emblem and paint the part. From what you show so far, it looks like you are good with this type of work. The rest should be easy for you.

The crash bars are not included as standard on the Bieber, so there should be very few of them...
