Put up a pic. It looks to be a variation of the Sport 50. If it is true Vespa rather than a Chinese scoot that someone insists is a Vespa, I would think it's worth about $1500. Running. Not running - half that. But it may need tires and all the other rubber bits - fuel and vacuum hoses, drive belt, intake manifold, etc... Add to that a battery, plus labor. However, seeing you are the end of the world, as my fellow Floridians used to say, you may not be in such a position to haggle. More than half the Vespas in my area are the 50cc models. Fine for the city and probably perfect where you live in the Keys. But many people buy these with higher expectations on speed and power. So they then they don't get used much and sit in garages. As long as you are happy with a top speed of around 30 mph on flat land (no bridges), you'll be alright.

I see a few of these pop up for sale in the U.K. Zafferano is Italian for saffron hence the orange colour.
Might be worth a slight premium over the standard s50/LX50 but not a significant amount.
They do look nice though.
If that was for sale here I'd snap it up at $1000, would be tempting at $1200.
Your market prices will be different though.
As mentioned these low mileage 50cc's that have sat unused for a while and will need a good going over.
If you can do the stuff yourself then it's not going to be much that money in parts. In the U.K. it would be 2 stroke and will go 45mph ish, in the US it's possibly a 4 stroke so won't be that quick.
