Hi guys I'm new here so thank you for appcepting me . Ok I have a few bikes . But my 2 lmls I want to talk about . My 2008 one I have had crank a new stator and mallossi 177 kit on its fine owned it since 2008 . So had all the works over the years . But my 2017 one I've done cheeply . Had chisel put me a 5 port Lml barrel new crank and dyno a service . Never done much with the 2017 model but just put it on road I haven't a clu what I'm doing so let the experts do the work . The 150 5 port I bought seemed a good upgrade a cheap for a standard bike . The thing keeps heat seizing on little short runs . Are these kits any good ? I know there cheap an chearful but there hard work ! Anyone else use a 150 5 port ?? I use it with a sip 2 pipe all dyno at chisel . Help ? Thank you

Spill the beans. What carburator configuration are you running? what jets? also, what 2 stroke oil are you using? I have a LML engine on a Malossi 177cc cast iron that literally almost ties my Malossi 210 P200E in straight acceleration.

Mostlikely your setup is running lean on the jetting. I can't emphasize enough how much of a difference a good quality full synthetic oil will do. What fuel are you running? have you mess with the timing or air mixture?

Hi thank you for the reply . I'm actually not sure if I'm honest . Chiselspeed shop do all my work on all my bikes . The white Lml is a mallossi 177 alloy barrel with slightly bigger carb and bgm ignition . An sito pluss . A that is no problem at all . Over the years I've had to have done the usual . Brakes/cables coil and stator . The usual but it runs fine . The blue one I'm on about is a 2017 model it was totally standard . So I put it on road last week as it was stood in my garage for 6 years . I wanted to just keep
It standard so I bought an Indian 150 5 port cast barrel kit and sent it to chisel . Had the crank changed to a better one mec crank . An had kit fitted . It was dyno and set up at shop doing 7.5 hp . It has been better lately I've got about 70 miles on it now keeping it steady and letting it cool b4 riding again every couple of miles . Plug is chocolate brown couloir so . Just hope it will be ok . If it keeps seizing il put a bgm or mallossi on it . As got the crank in now . It is actually nice to ride smooth a low reving I use a sip 2 pipe on it . If it sits at 55 all day il be happy an dosent seize . Hope that explains it thank you j

Got 140 miles on 5 port Lml barrel now seems to be doing ok no more nips but still feels tight . Pulling clutch in when it's gearing down and Rev gently . Bring it down to 15 mph then let it out slowly and seems to b ok . It's still a new cast barrel . So I think I'm going in the right direction . B nice to get a reply on here . Sorry I'm not that clued up mechanical so I let chisel do all my work a bike has been set up on dyno .

You put gas in the oil tank? Why on earth would one do that?

Sounds like time for you to learn a bit about the jetting & pull them out to see thats in there. Its easy & a SEARCH will bring up the how-to

I think he also puts a little of oil into the gas tank ! Could be clever if you are not sure if autolube works, as he seems to have seizing problems.

Seizing has nothing to do with top end, being Idian, Chinese, Portuguese or South African, it is related to carburation, jetting.

As suggested by SubEtherBass you need to learn who it works ! Use search option with carburation, jetting and you will find some good explanation topics
