Good day everyone, I have an lml str 200 with Michelin s1 3.50-10 installed.

Planning on changing to city grips but sizes available are 90/90 10 and 100/90 10.

Any advice on which tire size to get?

Thank you
Gilbert

Welcome to MV.

You might ask a Mod to move this thread to the NSM section. You will get more timely responses there.

That said, 100/90 is slightly wider than the 90/90, so you won't experience much upgear effect like you would with a taller tire.

90/90 is shorter overall, closer to a 3x10 instead of a 3.5x10. I used a set of them on my P200 when I wanted to decide about lowering gearing for hills.

the 100/90 is closer to a 3.5x10 if you are happy with the gearing.

Thank you for the replies.

I saw a px200 with 100/90-10s installed and it got a bit taller. Will there be problems on the rear? Will it hit any parts of the scooter?

100/90-10 is fine, ran it for years before swapping out to 100/80-10 which I prefer the look of.

Another option for you to consider is a set of Pirelli Angel Scooter tyres. They come in 3.0 x 10 and also 3.5 x 10 and have a similar modern tread pattern to the city grips.

I have bought them for my rally and et3.

You have LML 200 four stroke, right? Be ready that 100/90 may rub on clutch cover studs/nuts and on exhaust.
On my LML I grinded down clutch cover studs/nuts and put few washers between exhaust bracket and crankcase to move pipe towards from tyre.

Seconded. They're very good all 'rounders for the price. I run them on most of my scoots.
