Hi, working on a deal on a new 300 Super Tech, but I don't know if I will regret the Tech part of it. I've always noticed the tech on other vehicles I own has not stood the test of time. The only regular GTS Super they have is classic red. I really like the matte blue on the Tech. I was considering a used non HPE (probably a more wise decision), but can't get past the improved engine and suspension of the new stuff. Is the HPE and suspension really much better? I know it's nobodies choice but my own, but welcome input. 10k OTD is a @#$%!

I love my Supertech.
But only because I made my own app instead of using Piaggio's which means it works properly and i can add any feature i dream up |

The brakes and front suspension on the latest models are a big improvement. I've just migrated from 2015 and 2018 GTS300s to the 2023 one, and very happy with it. Very smooth ride. But I didn't go for the Super Tech - I prefer an analog speedo, and don't want all that connectivity.

The 2023 bikes solve the old gts front end wobble. I wouldn't buy them for the tech, the bike I think stands on its own.

I love my 2023 GTS-300 SuperTech. The screen is easy to read turn by turn directions is great announces in your helmet if you have speakers in the helmet. Shows turns on the screen and next turn coming up as well.
Displays music you are listening to and calls coming in. I plan to buy the next year's model too. I connect to an iPhone. I have a LS50 old school Vespa too with the traditional Vespa display and like the new Supertech digital display better. GTS Supertech

Thanks for the input, and I am brand new to this Modern Vespa. Hoping to find other riders in my area too. Is there any differences between the '23 and '24 year GTS models? I just got off the phone with Gary the Vespa Dealer here in San Luis Obispo, CA and told him I'm going with the blue Super Tech. He's giving me a fair trade value on the Honda Trail. I do have a Cardo system, and have been using this with iPhone and a Quadlock mount. I am anxious to have the dedicated screen without need for the phone mounted. Can't wait!

You won't regret it. Ride it and have fun.
It took me 6 months to remove the sticker on the windscreen, you don't look through it anyway. |

I really dislike top cases in general but I will need one to carry my laptop and lunch to work. Whatever is under the seat gets 🔥 af! Energica blue matte =hard to find. A leather one could do, but finding a style that goes with the modern look, idk. Whats the best rack for it?
*If this goes off topic, it can be moved. Thank you |

if you go to scooterwest.com you can find the parts you want. The rack I have is the Vespa GTS29PA $180 and the top case is the Vespa SUPERTECH BLUE ENERGICO (MATTE BLUE) GTS 2023 HPE2 TOPCASE W/PAD (CM273385) $428.

Thanks for the recommendation. Like some others I can't figure out the app and Bluetooth connection. "Can't find scooter"🤔 Phone pairs but app doesn't. The more I read the instructions I'm more confused. Did a reset and tried different sequence. Felt like I was killing the battery trying to figure it out.

Yes it's iOS, and I got it working to a degree. I can't see any nav info on the TFT screen. I get audio through the headset and can hear directions and change songs with the joystick. It's pretty wonky. I have no way to control the nav while riding, with no voice commands or touchscreen. The app would not show the cancel route option for a while. I really need to figure out how to get the screen to show directions and be able to cancel/change route. It's not that big of a deal, but I'd like to get it working correctly. I do like the idea of having nav and music available without the need to mess with a phone.

Thanks for the info. I do recall reading that somewhere, but after all of the hassle, I forgot. I'm not usually this lame at figuring things out.

With the early Supertech the app would automatically do this switch for you. No idea why they chose not to in the current model.

Everything is working now thanks to your help. Now, if I can just find a top case for it. Scooter West is out of matte blue top cases for the GTS 300. Just need to find the best rack/case combo. I see there's a lot of opinions about figment to certain racks. There's some old boards here about it, and wondering how ordering from SIP has gone for others. I'm pretty OCD about everything, and the new Vespa has given me plenty to consider. 😬

Yeah, just got a reply from Scooter West and they think they have one in stock. Just sent them payment for the rack and top case. I'll miss the look of it without the case, but I really need to carry some things. Went with a chrome rack. Would've liked black, but that opens up having to switch all the other chrome out. I got a knock off mirror mount for the quad lock I already had and put that on today. So nice having a place other than the glove box for the phone. I've never had a bike with all of these comforts and conveniences. I meant to get a scooter for the simplicity.
