Does anyone now how to update the maps on the navigator app? mine are completely out of date

when I was at the dealer asking about the 530, they said navigation was updated with an app, and apparently you have to renew license every 3 years or so, that is best I know.

You are correct, the licence is free for 4 years when you a buy a new 530, after that you have to pay a renewal fee. I don't know how much as mine is not due until 2026. The app is quite good and works well with the bike once you have mastered the art of connecting the two for the first time. The main weakness I think is that there appears to be no way of updating the maps which are part of the app. It may happen automatically but if it does then the app doesn't give you any prompts or information. I know mine are out of date as I went on a road today that was built at least 5 years ago but the app doesn't appear to know anything about it and was constantly telling me it was recalculating

Must admit this was one of the things that put me off pulling the trigger to buy, other thing was rear wheel removal no change in design, the Kymco seems better in all areas except maybe storage.

to update click the button in the top right of the Downloaded Maps screen.

PS check to see if you have "avoid dirt roads" etc selected in MIA as that might have been why it was grumpy

Thank god for this forum, if only the dealer could have explained this to me, I might have pulled the trigger and bought the 530

My experience is that the dealers know less than we do, their stock answer is "contact Piaggio customer service"
