A buddy of mine picked this bike up and wants me to get it ready for the road. I've seen a billion P200s but this one is really beautiful, like it's been in a living room its whole life.
Check out the front shock and the selector box protector.

Seriously gorgeous! 🥰 Love that color, original paint looks new. Dare I ask what your friend paid for this beauty?

I believe he paid around 3K, a pretty damn good price for a survivor like this. I can't imagine its going to take much to get this on the road. I have never seen paint this nice, even 25 years ago.

Yowzah!

Any idea on the story? Wonder why the previous owner would change the shock absorber on such a low mileage rig.

I have no idea either, the rear shock was also replaced. Both shocks are real odd, the front has a 13mm nut welded to the bottom where an 8mm bolt is screwed in, the rear shock is some type of reservoir shock that has a Piaggio stamp on it. I'm going to take apart the front shock and figure out what's going on, science demands answers.

The side pic looks a little like an old Bitubo reservoir. Do you have any other pics of the shock?

Ill take some more, it looks a bit different from a Bitubo, no shrader valve on the reservoir and some strange hardware.
