Hey guys, so my et2 starts after a few kicks and holding the throttle all the way, but then dies and pukes fuel out the very top of the carborator,(the black part where im pointing) is this a tuning issue or is the carborator bad or what?

There's a gasket that goes under the black cap. Yours is probably torn/non existent causing air/fuel issues. Order a carb rebuild kit and refresh yours.

Two stroke scooters are definitely finicky when everything is not air tight.

This is a brand new carborator and I remember having the gasket in there, is it possible for it to break so quickly? I only rode it once before it had this problem

The plastic broke?

Is this a genuine Piaggio carburetor or an eBay generic?

What's the status of the rubber manifold the carb plugs into? Cracks?

It's a ebay one, and there are little cracks on the manifold, this is my first motorcycle of any kind so I didn't really know what to buy. When I bought it the carborator was clogged but when I tried to clean it I broke it so I bought this one and after messing with the tuning I got it to work but then it broke again, this fuel issue is new though

I too have been tempted by the cheap chinese carbs, but never ever have I been satisfied by them. Don't waste any money on key components for your Vespa with chinese parts.

Use reputable parts from a reputable dealer. ScooterPartsCo is a good choice.

Ok ok i get it lol, lesson learned. Ordered the carborator and electric choke from treatland, and the manifold from scooterpartsco. 180 dollars worth so hopefully this fixes itπŸ™πŸ™
