Modern Vespa

My main problem is the scooter not even turning over, I have full power but won't turn over.
So I noticed mentions of the brake bulbs being burned out. When I removed the cover I saw two blue wires just hanging there, not connected to anything.
Does anybody know what these two blue wires are for?

I ride the MP3 almost every day so not sure why it won't start.

Possibly for the EU spec led license plate lights

full power meaning the battery is fully charged and reading more than 12 volts?

when you squeeze either brake lever the brake lights illuminate?

do you mean did I check to see if the switch is broken?

anywee, fixed. the brake switch was the culprit. I don't know if it had wiggled a bit loose or if the WD40 on the red plunger loosened it but the scoot fires up!!!

I wonder if flying through a huge swarm of blind mosquitoes had anything to do with the switch needing to be cleaned?

I'm glad I wear one of these......
