If you weren't allowed to sell or trade the Tesla, would you rather have my Vespa or that monstrosity?

I don't get the negativity around the CyberTruck. I don't particularly like the looks, although it does look better in person than pictures, but the technology is impressive and it will only improve with further software updates.
I will admit I'm not a pickup truck guy, any of them, unless they're needed for utilitarian purposes. One thing I will give the CyberTruck is that it's iconic. Other examples would be the first Land Rover, Citroën DS, original Mini or the Lamborghini Miura. Something very rare in the automotive industry. Virtually every iconic vehicle has been polarizing in some way, but always very innovative. |

its definitely a face that only a mother can love The only issue I have with that vehicle is, for all its "greeness" the thing weighs around 7,000 pounds unloaded, compared to an average F150 at around 4,200 lbs, that takes it toll on roads and bridges overtime....

All the technology in the world doesn't change that.

I would take the cybertruck and thrash it to within an inch of its life!
I would crash it on purpose and jump it and try to roll it while driving it on two wheels! I would do everything I could think of to disfigure it as a statement! Every time I crunched the fenders into the tires I would remove the excess sheet metal with a rigging axe and leave the jagged edges. All of the dents would be hammered out for rotating clearance only and I would turn the windshield washer squirters around so that they would aim out at the general public and I could squirt them as I pass by and they stand there pointing with their jaws agape at the disfigured shell of the cybertruck... It would be my goal to make the truck look like it had been of the front lines of the Russian invasion of Ukraine as a visible statement of my utter revulsion to the vehicle and Elmo in general. When the thing was totally inoperable and unsafe to drive then I would take the elephant they give me in the hypothetical job interview question (some job applications/interviews now ask the hypothetical question if we gave you an elephant what would you do with it if one is to believe the internet) and train the elephant to drag the destroyed hulk around parading it in front of whoever I could. Do I win the truck? And I would really like to have the elephant I would take really good care of it always wanted one! |

I think Ian Malcolm said it best,
Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should. Iconic, my ass. |
