So I thought just go to Scooter West and buy one; the problem I'm having is I can't see a hole in my steering stem to put the Speedo cable though. I have the connection on my wheel for the cable to attach to. Am I missing something? Thanks for any advice.

It goes all the way through the fork tube. Pops out under the front fender like shown in the pic above. I had to dremel mine out a bit to fit a new cable. No clip, it won't rub.

What I mean is you won't see the cable behind the horn since it's inside the fork steering tube.
