I have a set of hella bar end indicators to retro intsall on my ET3.
As a reference I have used the smallframes.com site to tell me how to install.

I have the inner tubes to go inside and gear and throttle tubes, the flanges for the end of the tubes and the special grips with the opening for the indicators and of course the indicators themselves.
The one thing I needed to check before I do something drastic is if the outer tubes need to be shortened or not.
I have checked the length of the inner tubes and they are 318 mm as they are on the sip website. The grips are not any longer than original grips so I can't see how to install without shortening the gear and throttle tubes.
Does anybody have a set installed with the inner tubes they could measure for me? The grip length of the existing tubes is 116mm.

Grip, flange and inner tube inside the throttle tube. It looks like it needs to be shorted by 20 mm.
The flange is supposed to sit and give access the grub screw that holds the indicator into the tube. It will only fit over the inner tube.
