So, I fixed my LCD on my GTS, but it still is nearly impossible to read in direct sun.

Is there any way to get analog fuel and temp gauges for this? I don't mind putting a hole in something like the left kneeshield cover whatever that is to mount a couple of gauges that I can actually read. And I don't mind running wires.

Ideas?

FYI I know there are some aftermarket speedometers with analog gauges, like the SIP one, but they are just way too expensive.

I'm sure you'll figure something out - but just beware the 250 circuit diagram is tits-up w.r.t. the fuel gauge. Compare with the 300 Super diagram to get the correct wiring.

The GTV headset was analog until the most recent redesign. I imagine there's one that's compatible with your GTS.

Yeah, I really like the GTV's headset design much better than the GTS. But I don't want to do a whole conversion because I don't like the headlight on the mudguard. That GTV speedo/gauges is pretty much just like old PX. Speaking of that, I have a spare PX unit, might just try the fuel gauge and see what it reads.
