This 150 sprint came to me with this electrical box attached to the fan housing left open and the purple wire disconnected. The schematics in my Haynes manual haven't been much help. There's a screw with no wire on the left hand side with no wire attached to it.

Anybody know where it goes?

Could be it's the blue wire to the brake circuit ? I don't see a corresponding wire from the stator.

The box is a termination panel. You can connect it to the screw on the left if it makes you feel better. It will look cleaner, but doesn't create any change in the circuit. Is everything working as you expect? Have you looked to the other end of the wire loom to understand what if anything is connected to the mystery wire?

Purple is the kill wire that connects at the switch. it should be connected to the red wire from the stator plate.

Ah ha ! Very good. I had the wrong diagram...I don't think in terms of battery bikes.

That didn't work but the owner just told me that all of the wiring was disconnected at one point so the whole bike needs to be checked. He's a retired electrical engineer so I might just make him do it.

To answer a previous question, nothing works right, other than the brake light.
