I know that the fuel mix for my 64 150 vbb is 50 to 1. Does that mean that I can use a brand named pre mix like Sthil motomix. It's the high performance mix used for chain saws and other Sthil motors, in my Vespa or is that not a good idea ? What is the best two stroke oil for Vespas? Mine is not an oil injection system.
Thanks for an advice

I'd advise against a premix designed for chainsaws. Also, a premix, shelf sable gasoline cant be very high quality, not to mention how expensive it would be to power your bike that way. Stick with Motul 710, and enjoy your bike.

It works wonders for my chainsaws and weed wackers. It's a non ethanol gasoline. Thanks for the Motul 710 tip.

Of course I can't find it now, but I read a great article explaining why you shouldn't use lawn tool oil with anything else. Hopefully I'm not butchering it, but the oil flashpoint and lubricants are designed for higher rpms and different heat cycles. Same explanation for water cooled outboard motors.

The general consensus for engine life was to just buy a motorcycle specific two stroke oil for motorcycles, and yard tool motor for yard tools.
