Modern Vespa

Hi guys, having issues with my Mp3 not locking or unlocking, Red and amber fault lights and continuous fault sounder, not the horn, just the buzzer. Microswitch checked and is OK, seat sensor OK, bought two new wheel speed sensors as mine are not in good shape. What position should the wiper be in when in the unlocked position, I've removed it to check it and when refitting the cable I have to use a wrench to move the arm to the left, slide the cable in and the pads are on and it is locked even though the wiper is to the left, I'm wondering if this is my issue.

Check from 3b and 4b to 7a on the roll lock ecu for continuity of the cables running down to the tone wheel this will also check continuity of the sensors.
Use a small screwdriver on the worm shaft which is recessed in the bottom to move the locking sector. Take the top off and ensure the timing marks are lined up and grease it and reassemble. Check maksor'"s instructions to centre the pot.

I stripped the unit and made sure the two marks are aligned up but the arm seems to be too far to the right to me, I'm wondering if the gear with the spring is damaged, there's also some movement on the shaft too.
