I saw a post that shows and gives the part numbers for the airbox inspection pods/bubbles? Now I cannot find it. Both of mine are missing, would cause any issues?
Someone took off deliberately? You need to replace, even if it's just a solid color plastic or rubber cap. The clear OEM ones are there to let you see when/if they collect a minute amount of oil in them. Without them ( just open) dirt or water could be sucked in.

I agree they should be replaced, but damage if they aren't is not likely. Most scooter brands don't have the little catchbubbles, and the occasional oil drips inelegantly right out on the ground.
