Well, some day it will happen to you too. Your beloved mp3 will honk 5 times because of hydraulic fluid leak inside the pressure sensor of your suspension lock.

And while it should be replaced as soon as possible, the 5-times honk could cause some problems with your neighbours or passers. Someone could think you're beeping to them for some reason and come to ask why. Also you might feel bad if the thing beeps inside your garage.

All works as it should, except for rude beeps.

same as putting a piece of black tape over a red fault light in your car.

Yes, more or less. But for me personally this has two reasons:

1. I don't like to be noisy
2. Part availability and price

I mean, if it didn't use horn, I'd keep everything as it is.

Hi everyone!
I have a 09' mp3 500, and when it's turned on, and the tilt lock not released yet it beeps ( alarm horn) 5 times very loud. What cause the problem?
And other thing is, yesterday my hubby tried to bleed the hydraulic tilt lock at the screw, no oil can be extracted? The cup wasn't on the reservoir, he used a manual pump. The sensor was changed yesterday.
