that is my question.
Am faffing with the cofanos. Fitting the correct indicator wiring and the rubber stops in the hanger bracket.
To facilitate the latter have taken off the spare wheel.

My 2019 125 Primavera has tubeless and nóbody worries about is not having a spare tyre.

My P200E has SIP tubeless rims. Ergo basically the same no?!
Then why put the spare back?! More so because it in not a modern wheel. Maybe carry foam can for peace of mind?!
Thát would then lead me to álso put one in La Primavera

What do you guys practice?

On my Stella, not having the spare tire mounted unbalanced the bike. The spare acted as a partial counterbalance for the engine.

I run a spare on both of mine. Better to have one and not need it than to need one and not have it.

I think the ideal for a long trip would be tubeless tires with a split rim spare and an extra tube.

When I go to Baja I'll have a split wheeled spare in addition to another tube and a tube repair kit. That should do it. I see myself being more adventurous on the scoot vs the big bikes. Better safe than stuck.

To mount tubeless wheel on spare place you need spacers(long M8 nuts and bolts) even then in some cases it is still impossible.

On my P I have tubeless and always carry Motul P3.
And MRP tool box on the spare tyre place.
I find very useful.

On my PK I have split rims but due to Polini exhaust there is no more place for spare. So again MRP tool box with pair spare tubes, small bicycle pump and some other stuff. Yes it will need more time to change the tube but at least I can do it and continue to ride.

Very good point.
You can replace your flat tubeless with the split rim carried with the result you are stuck with the tubeless wheel.
Will go foam can.

Exactly. One of the best advantages of riding a vintage scoot is the spare tire. If you get a blow out, no foam or goo will hold it together; regardless if tube or tubeless.

I run tubeless Pinasco wheels, and carry a spare stock split rim with tube and tire; as well as a tire repair kit.

That reminds me I gotta get a tire repair kit. I run the same, tubeless sip wheels and the og wheel that weren't rusted through as the spares with tubes.

Thanks for the varied solutions.

The result being that I now will carry a foam can in La Primavera which I used to ride no worries without spare/kit/foam ROFL emoticon

p.s. works a treat but only for tubeless.

For ány sort of tyre a ´trick´ is to increase air pressure on rougher surfaces. It reduces conformation so traction but also reduces punctures.

Rubber is funny stuff.
There is the hysteresis (most traction at max drift angle), load sensitivity (lighter scoot has more traction) and the wet properties (greatly increasing puncture risk), among much more.

Rubber is funny stuff but your tires are made of nylon.

I've had Pinasco tubeless for a few years now and no punctures. Have had a couple of leaks. But I still carry a spare, I'm too scared not to!! Laughing emoticon

I should just get a repair kit and small foam can.

synthetic ´rubber´ yes and if anything more funny than the natural version; enhanced hysteresis, load sensitivity and all.

Pottered up to the farm with Margarita to spend some time with #1 son. Tomorrow he´s leaving for Sweden for a year today stored his car. He asked if I could use... one can of foam for 13 - 14" car wheels and one for scoots.
I can, so one is already in Margarita´s glove box, one for Esmeralda and the two under way will be for La Primavera and spare on the shelf.
